I Have A 99 Tahoe 4x4 2dr , The Problem Is On The Transmission It Make A Noise Like Grinding,it Shift But When Is Hot, It Wont Shift,i Let Cool For 5 Minutes And Work Fine For A Few Minutes And Work Normal . What Can Be The Problem?

well does it have enough fluid in it?
low fluid will make it shift wrong or not at all

what color is the fluid?
red= good. black=trans is smoked

when was the last time you had the fluid changed and a new filter put in it?



sounds like your trans is getting ready to completely take a sh!t on you.

The Fluid Is On Full Leabel And Is Color Red .and Dont Smell Like Smoke Or Burn

is it throwing the SES light? if so what code is it throwing?

I'd pull the pan and filter, could be plugged up.

That brake switch may just be your problem than...

"The brake switch indicates brake pedal status to the powertrain control module (PCM). The brake switch is a normally-closed switch that supplies battery voltage on the input circuit to the PCM. Applying the brake pedal opens the switch, interrupting voltage to the PCM. When the brake pedal is released, the PCM receives a constant voltage signal. If the PCM receives a zero voltage signal at the brake switch input, and the torque converter clutch (TCC) is engaged, the PCM de-energizes the TCC solenoid valve."

Inspect the brake switch for proper mounting and operation.
Inspect for ABS DTCs. A faulty ABS condition may contribute to setting DTC P0724."

where can i find the brake switch? tanks a lot for that information

I guess the GM dealership - or autozone...

I don't know if autozone would carry it tho
