Hello everyone,
New to forum and about to be a new 08 LT3 owner.. but I've got issues on my color combo and need help.

The exterior color is black.. that's solid.. It's the interior color that's killing me..I was dead set on black/cashmere as I just think that's a class color combo and live in Texas... HOT!.. well it seems the more popular combo in these parts is black/ebony... I do like the looks of the ebony but wish it wasn't so monotone..i wish the combo was like the black/tit interior of the Z71's... As far as the Dark/light titanium option (I haven't seen it in person but it looks nice on the forums)

Final Thoughts.

1. black/black is definitely the meanest look but I'd have to swap out the wood dash inserts for the alum. similar to Z71's...can't handle the all black composition and wood.
2. black/cashmere just great combo but not as mean... like the composition of colors on the interior though (lot of different things going on)
3. black/dark-light titanium haven't seen in person so don't know...

Please help out... I've been going crazy and waffling back in forth for 3 days.. I think the dealership is about to say enough.. LOL..

i think the black and tan is the best. black on black is going to be HOT, black and grey is nice but i think black and tan looks nice and is real classy.

I have to disagree on this one - black on black is the way to go. It looks goooooooooood. If you're worried about the heat, tint the front 2 windows and remember, you've got the remote start to cool the vehicle down before you step inside!

You know I thought I wanted black interior till I saw the cashemere with the wood and black accents on the Dash and I was sold. I am in TX as well and can attest to the heat inside the cabin especially if you park outside. My concern is that the way that tan leather wears, usually not as well as black. That being said once I started to look at the type of leather that is being used in these trucks it seems very durable and resistant to color changing. There are many products on the market nowadays that will help you clean and protect the leather in your car...used Leatherique on my 03 BMW M3 and it still looks almost new. I think if you maintain it, in my opinion the Tan leather looks the best for a darker color car....just my .02

Both look nice, but the cashmere will look ALOT worse over time.

I would go with the titanium. Tan interiors give me a headache... No idea why, but they do.

I live in Virginia and we get VERY hot summers, and I've had no issues with my ebony leather interior regarding heat or anything. If I would have been able to talk my wife into a black Denali, I would've definitely gotten the ebony interior. If you're worried about contrast between the black and the "wood", I would think that the additional contrast w/ Titanium would be less desirable. You can always get a dash kit to cover the wood stuff like you said... But you can't change the interior color too easily. The choice is clear:

Black & Ebony: It's Dead Sexy, Baby!

I'll just add my $.02 about the light titanium interior. I'm fanatical about my cars being clean...they say it is the sign of a sick mind...they're probably right. Anyway, I have the titanium interior in my '06 Impala and it drives me nuts keeping the carpet/floor mats clean. The light interior looks good with the graystone metallic exterior, but it show every bit of dirt and wear. I won't do a light interior again.

i did black and tan on my sierra denali, but thats becasue its more of a luxury truck insted of a workaholic truck like the tahoes and yukons, but someone stated it wares quicker and he is right, my grey leather looks like new at 32k miles on my 06 yukon.

Black w/ tan interior has ALWAYS been top choice w/ me! I can't get enough of it! But, sometimes, you settle for something else when you can't get what you want, for whatever reason. My MAX is black/tan (frost is what Nissan calls it) and I LOVE IT!!! Back in the day, I had a white '87 MAX w/ tan interior and it looked VERY classy! Guess it's pretty obvious there's no other combo I like better than black/tan...but everyone has their own preference, I guess... :cool2:

Thanks to all.....

Thanks for all the help guys... it ultimately came down to my heart and black/tan just felt better to me although I really loved both color combos... Pulled the trigger on a black/tan LTZ w/DVD and Nav on Wednesday... I've only had it a few days but already loving it.... I was heartbroken when I drove away from my G35 coupe.... but it's already becoming a memory..

Awesome vehicle...!

i got a grey inteiror on my yukon and i love it when i have to do dirty work, it does not show dirty at all, i have a tan and black sierra denali, all it shows is dirt on the carpet, other wise its stays cleaner than the yukon.
