HELP!! Did a u-turn while in 4Hi on dry pavement, now no-more 4WD.
I can't put it in 4WD any longer and I have a service 4WD on the DIC.

i tried resetting the battery and cycling the key and no luck.

Any insight into what I did?

Lesson learned huh! never in 4wd on dry pavement. Sounds like encoder motor in a bind. Might have to unplug, remove, reinstall and go from there.

Thank you for the help guys.

I just got the codes pulled and it showed 1 active code:
C0379 - Front Axle Circuit Malfunction.

It showed 2 other history codes in addition to the active code, they are:

C0306 - Motor A/B Circuit Malfunction
B0790 - Transfer Case Neutral Indicator Circuit

Oh, we did clear the codes and it instantly came back on when the vehicle was turned back on.

A quick google search, shows that either axle solenoid or the encoding motor, but my problems didn't just randomly happen I caused it with a U-turn or pissed it off enough and maybe it had an issue before.

Thanks again for the help.

Well I had a friend come by and help me out, we checked the front axle solenoid and figured it wiring, checked the
Switch and it was the fuse.

Thank you to everyone, I can't believe it was that simple.
