HELP 08 tahoe mirrors have mind of their own

my new tahoe has mirrors that have a mind of their own! everything was great until we changed them to the turn down in reverse mode. but absolutely didnt like it so i switched them back. now the passenger mirror goes all the way to the outside position everytime you open the door! suggestions?

I also have an '08 Tahoe and haven't suffered that problem but I swear my driver mirror moves and doesn't stay where I set it at. I am however using the the mode to turn down the mirrors in reverse. Maybe it's just me though, but I know I have had to reset my driver mirror twice in the past 2 weeks. As far as your problem goes, I'd say a dealership trip unless someone on here has had similar issues.

If you have it in turn down mode it tends not to return to original postion.

Not sure about what is going on after you switched out of turn down mode.
