Hi all, first post here. I have been using this forum as a resource for some time. One mod I have wanted to do, I finally ought the parts for, and now I cannot find the install that was listed here which told me how to wire it! So, please help if you can.
I bought a fan, I installed it, I have the GM wiring harness part# 88880045.
I do not have a clue where to put all these wires! :whymewhyme:
There is a relay thingy, a black (ground I think), then 2 reds and a purple wire from the relay. One of the Reds has something in line, then at the end the wire has a grey section about 4" long to an electrical (the kind that goes over a post) connector. The other red has a (on a post style) connector also, but smaller.
My fan has a red and a blue wire to the motor. It has a different type of connector, but I can and would gladly cut that off the wires instead of trying to find the right connector. I am sure I have other connectors laying around.
So, I want this fan to kick on when the A/C compressor kicks on. Any ideas?
As it sits, my fan is doing nothing but further obstructing airflow over the condensor.
