Hi all, I'm getting an 01 Tahoe LT with 161K. I used to own an 04 Escalade AWD, the best vehicle I have ever owned! Sadly, it was totalled last year. I know the Tahoe is no Escalade, but I know many things are the same, and unlike my Escalade it will be owned outright! So I'm looking forward to fixing this one up, and seeing everyone's rides and discussions as well. I've been working on my own cars for almost 10 years, so I'm pretty handy, but new to the 5.3.
My first question: this truck has the full bench middle row. I much preferred the bucket middle row seats on my Escalade, and I found someone on craigslist parting out an 04 Tahoe LTZ with the middle buckets. Anyone happen to know if those would bolt up? I am strongly suspecting the floor studs may be in the same place for both configurations.
