Glad I found this site and seems like an awesome community with tons of information. I'm a hopeful Tahoe owner as well.
I have been a proud Chevy owner ever since I obtained my license. I started off with a 72' k5 Blazer (Now sitting in the garage at my folks residence). Then I owned a 93' Blazer. I sold the 93' Blazer so I could then purchase a 2000 S-10 ZR2 Pickup. I had to sell the pickup because it wasn't economical at the time due to me starting up a family. Now I am back in the market for a Chevy, primarily a Tahoe due to its family friendliness (seating) and I'm not worried about mpg's.
I currently am looking at a 2001 Tahoe Z71 with ~78miles. The guy wants ~$9000.00. The Tahoe looks beautiful and runs like kitten. I'm about ready to bite and fork over the $$$. For those that are experienced with these earlier models, what should I be aware of?
