Hi, I have an 04 Tahoe LT and my drivers heated seat just started acting up.
I turn it on and both the back and bottom buttons light up, then after about 20 or 30 seconds they shut off. I hit the button again and they may stay lit for about a minute or more then shut off again. Sometimes they immediately shut off. I have searched this forum for some insight but have yet to find anything definitive. Anyone else had this issue and if so what was the fix? Would appreciate any info. Don't really have the money right now to take to a dealer without knowing for sure I need to. Thanks

Highest probability of failures is the driver seat back heater element is the suspect you can check it by lifting up on the driver seat back cushion cover and you can see the element if it looks burnt and toasted thats your problem right there
