I just bought a 1996 two door Tahoe with grey cloth interior, but somebody smoked ALOT in it, so I am replacing much of the interior.

The first thing is the headliner, or head liner (sp?).

I would love to have a suede headliner, does anyone know of somebody that makes aftermarket head liner kits, or is a custom shop the only way to go?

You dont see the head liner much, but any sort of leather would SMELL so good.

Does anyone have any idea what I should pay for putting a suede head liner in my Tahoe in Atlanta, GA... or a recommendation of a shop?

Hey man I would do it yourself!!! Taking it to a shop and having it done will cost A LOT! I did my Headliner and doors by myself on my 95 tahoe. I had no clue what I was doing when I started but it came out quite well I think...
Only cost me 100 bucks for the fabric and some hours of my time :)

Its really not that hard at all. Just pull the headliner out take a gallon of contact cement and apply generously paying close attention to the contours thats will sh*t will start sagging if not done well. I'm not sure how the shops do it but it worked well for me:yesnod:

I wasn't trying to "ball outta control" with this interior or get bitc*es. I chose this type of camo because I LIKE CAMO all kinds as a matter of fact I don't discriminate. The color suited the stock interior the best so I went with it. Plus its something different and I was just havin some fun!!!

New head Liner

OK OK, I got it!!

I am going to go call my taxidermist and get some entire deer skins, sew them together, and then have a deer-skin-fur headliner. Thanks for the pictures.
