anyone have this problem? I know how to adjust the headlights, but i cant seem to get them to go high enough to get enough coverage out of the lights. Do i need to get better bulbs??

no, but hte previous owner had the torsion bars cranked up a bit. I lowered the front by adjusteing them down. Now the headlights are too low and seem to be at the max of adjustment?!?!

i should be able to crank the lights up real high if i wanted to. I mean the front is now even with the rear, not like it has a downward rake or anything?W!?

This is going to sound lame, but are you getting ANY movement out of the adjusters?> If your adjusting the hex head screw, thats for removing the light. But if you are adjusting the torx head screws, and they arent moving, then something is stripped or something... Im having headlight trouble with mine as well, but its getting the assy out that I cant do.

you sound like it should be just fine with the truck lowered and not raked etc...man, i dunno. sorry I couldnt help more.

fixed it! stupid arse gears for the adjusters were broke. i mean both of them on both sides!! took the assemblies apart and rotated the adjusters to where i thougt it would be close. then re-asembled and adjusted with a vise grips!
