Hi all, new to the board and I'm stumped. I have a 2003 z71 Tahoe that likes to die intermittently. It will sometimes die every 3 to 6 miles and then again I can go 300 miles with no problems.
When it does die if I just sit and wait 5 minutes it will start again and I'm on my way. Does this sound like a fuel pump? I've had a couple of guys say it could be the ignition module too.
I just replaced both knock sensors and put new intake gaskets on and there is no check engine light now. It was dying long before I replaced those things and I thought that would fix the dying problem. I don't want to start just throwing parts at it.
Any thoughts on what it could be?
