I have a 2011 Tahoe Z71 with the Bose factory setup. It has the radio with a DVD slot on top, but it is not a navigation/touchscreen unit.
I was wondering if anybody with a similar setup has installed an aftermarket double din head unit. I am wondering if you have had any problems with the head unit interfacing with the steering wheel controls, OEM speaker phone, Sirius XM radio, etc.
I was thinking about picking up a Pioneer AVIC-8100NEX head unit, but I want to make sure I can still use it with my flip down DVD screen for the back seat, radio controls in the back seat, steering wheel controls, and stock speakerphone microphone.
Is this what I would need to retain all of the aforementioned factory options? http://electronicspluz.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=10_75&products_id=379
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
