Has anybody had problems with there Mirrors

I just bought my Hoe not to long ago, but my power mirrors don't work Driver or Passenger side. Was there a problem from GM with the mirrors. Because when i searching for my hoe, i test drove about 3-4 from years 2000-2002 and they had the same problem. I've checked the fuse it's not a fuse problem
Now sometimes they do go down but nothing else.

And anyone has had this problem let me know.
Is it the mirrors itself, the switch?

I have found the problem in some of them to be in the switch itself. Try pressing down a little harder on the switch and see if that works. Sometimes the spring type contacts wear out. If it works down sometimes like you say, then the fuse is still good and chances are the problem is in the switch.

having had my power window switch apart, it's merrily a rubber piece with contacts on them, if they get dirty and the printed circuit board get dirty, they won't work. The switch comes apart easily enough (don't break any of the tabs), take apart, clean with alcohol put back together and see if it works.

Did that and it started working better(UP & Left), Went ahead and bought a new switch from dealer, mirrors working fine now, THANKS NAPPERS & JK

Good, probably the light works now too? I have two lights out on power windows. I may tear apart and replace someday with the couple that are out in the radio too.
