Ehhhxcellent, may the accessorizing begin, or not, whatever, they ride like sitting on the couch don't they? I swear by new shocks and tires, just what I wanted in my rig, a smooth quiet ride, no rattles, nothing, totally silent and cushy. Although mine is a bit different than others here, I have always wanted to lean out my Tahoe, debadge, black out the windows, black wheels make it my personalized rig, almost there...still have a cat back exhaust and CAI to do. Enjoy your Hoe

Yeah I have to say the ride is amazing. Coming from an Audi I didn't really know what to expect.

Im super stoked because I didn't pay a penny more than I wanted, I got a bangin' deal.

Future mods: 22" rims, Maybe a different grill set up, Denali body kit?

Glad you like ur purchase. I'm glad I made the crossover.

Congrats, I love my Yukon....by far the favorite truck I've ever owned.

Get used to being at gas stations like the one in your pic tho, that's the only thing that SUCKS about driving these monsters.

There are things that can be done to improve mpg's/performance:

I'm not at the station alot, but I work 10 mins away from my house. :sla:

Trust me, I want big a$$ rims too. But the VT roads are sh!t. Seriously terrible roads. So have a feeling the rims would get murdered with a small side-wall. Plus I like the look of a little beef on the tires. . .

Heres a little info on the Tahoe:
2002 LT
97K miles
Heated Leather, Bose, Moonroof, 3rd Seat, Remote Start, New Brake Pads and Rotors.
Blue Book - $13,000
I Paid - $8,500

Does anyone have any pics of a Tahoe/Yukon equipped with TIS 06 or 08 rims? Anyone have these? How are they working out for you?

Thanks, Dan

Yeah, you know!

Well the guy I bought it from only left a quarter of a tank for a 30 minute drive home. It was basically empty by the time I got home, and plus it looked pretty under the lights at night.

One thing I have always insisted on before I drove it off the lot was a full tank of gas :D. I always mention it right before I sign the papers.

"Now it's going to be full of gas before I drive it off the lot isn't it?"

"Oh yes sir, it sure is."

Haha, those GM dealers will do about anything to make a sale these days.

I bought it from a young couple out in the country. They lived off a dirt road called Skunk Hill. Since they were practically giving it away they didn't do so much as spray it down. Fine by me, it was like unwrapping a present for the 1st time.
