Got 2 codes *need help please

Hey everyone
I have a 96 Tahoe 2dr 4wd
Its throwing 2 codes right now
1) P0700 tranny code, I hear this could be a problem with the TCM and or PCM. How do I know which one is the problem? They are 2 different computers right or is one inside the other?

2)P1100, not sure what this one is?

Also something else was noticed while trying to pass emmisions. The computer was not holding memory. The emmisions guy drove the truck around with it hooked up to the OBDII reader and the computer would register what was going on but as soon as you turn the key off the and check the OBDII reader again 5 things would go back to the NOT READY status.
Sounds like a bad PCM but not sure. And if the PCM is bad do you think that would help with the P0700 since the code is for a PCM and or TCM?

sounds like a bad computer. memory should not clear by itself.

these codes are not in the trouble code chart. can you look at the codes
again?

 

[2000 Z71 Tahoe]

if its not a P0 code (EX: P0301) its a manufacture (GM) code. if your code is a P1100 you will prolly have to check with GM to see what it is. if you call them they should be able to tell you.
