I am going to head down there on the 31st to try and trade my Hoe for this Denali.... i wanted to post it in here and see if anything thinks this is a bad idea.

I really want the 6.0 and the AWD... i know the rims are kinda wack

but still, what is everyone opinion? I think i will get 10k for my trade (that will be negative equity for me right now so i will have to finance my old loan in too)

IMO I would only do it if they would get rid of the old loan. But it looks like a well kept low milage for an 03. Just PLEASE put your rims and tires on it, that will look so awsome. But IMO if they want to sell it they will pay off your loan. Enless you owe an unreasonable amount that is like 16k? Then if you really want it and it does not stress your pocket book. GO AHEAD AND POST LOTS OF PICS!!!!

1k is not bad at all. I just think your gunna loose your ass on a trade and its gunna end up being like 4k. Try and sell it if they dont give you a good deal. Around here 06 denali Xls are going for that price with like 35-45k miles. Keep an eye out.

I sold my jeep for 1k more than KBB said it was worth on ebay. I just priced it as a start low and sold it outside of ebay. Worked great as we made the deal in person. It looks nice. But your only upgrading on drivetrain and engine. IMO yours is in better condition and is a year newer. 03 was the first year for that interior design. Sometimes its good to avoid those first year models.

I honeslty think that they arent going to give you nothin for the hoe.The denali seems like a great price though. I'd excpect maybe 8-9000 for a trade in. You should try and sell yourself, as you maybe able to get what your looking for as far as price. The denali looks pretty good from the pics. I was talking to my wife the other day about getting another car for her when hers is paid off, which would be the end of the year. Was thinking of trying to pick up another yukon or tahoe, since there going for cheap now.

i would prefer to just sell my truck and then use the $$$ to buy something, problem is, i do still love my truck. So i am not trying to sell it unless i get EXACTLY what i want, which is eaither a black or white denali.... preferably with the third row of seats and 4 captains chairs.

Midway is on 17th ave and bell? That dealer was hella big! Dont settle for something that you dont want. I still think thats a hella good deal. make sure to do a vehicle history report on anything you may want to buy

Hella!!! YES! keeping it real nor cal like! lol

yea I wont settle because I am actually happy with my truck, i would just be happier with a denali. So walking away from a crappy deal isnt going to be an issue. I have already pulled the histroy report on that denali, everything checks out except it had two owners, which isnt the worst thing in the world, but i would prefer it to have had a one owner truck.

i have not done my homework on the lade... is it the same tranny they use in the denali? I know its the same motor. Seems like the lade is a pretty good deal, a few more miles then i would like though.. and i hate those rims!

is there any powertrain differences between the denali and the escalade? or is it all asthetics?

ESCALADE HANDS DOWN!!!!! More bells and whistles. Better drivetrain and more value down the road. Tranny is still teh 4l65E (in the denali as well). But the escalade has a more powerful 6.0. denali has 335 and escalade has 345. So yes get it and dont look back. 68k or 72k. Offer him 12k on the lade and go from there.

I hope the dealer lets you drive it by your self!!! You need to do 4 things to make sure its in good shape. Shift the gear R, D, like 5 times. Floor it from a stop, slam on the brakes, and try and park it. This will test all the mechnical systems.
