Just thought I'd share my experience with adding the 2-way remote to my 07 tahoe. I already had remote start w/o power liftgate so the unit listed for $150.00 and I paid $130.00 for the kit. I needed some warranty work done, so before I went in I installed the kit myself (super easy, just remove driver's side D-pillar trim where speaker is, replace RCDL module, stick antenna on window and plug it in.) When I dropped it off I told the service writer what I had and ask if he could "help me out." When I picked the truck up I had a working 2-way remote start for no charge. Since I was already getting work done, he just wrote it up that the keyless wasn't working and they just reprogrammed the RCDL module.

Question for ya... I ordered two of them from my local dealer. One of them has already arrived and is sitting at the stealership, the other is still making its way across the country. Which part number did you purchase? The reason I ask is I'm curious if one part number includes the complete kit, like the antenna and RCDL module plus the clicker itself, and if there might be a different part number for the clicker by itself. I don't need two kits, just two clickers for the same vehicle.

Thanks!

I don't have the number in front of me, but it should be 2 diff numbers. You shouldn't have to buy a complete kit just to get the fob.

Just called the dealer and cancelled one of the kits. I'll look at the part number on the keyfob itself and order a second. Dealership knows less about this product than I do (and that ain't much).
