Hey alrite, so today i filled my tahoe all the way up with gas. then after that i went to my shop put her on the lift to replace my starter. Well when it was about 7 feet off the ground the thing started to leak gas back by the gas tank. i was looking around and it seemed like it was running off of the top (meaning 2 lines the top most one from the frame rail) and then dripping on the floor. Does anyone think it could be maybe a Vent, i filled the hoe up more then the pump wanted it to stop at. I said 60 bucks to the gas station attendant and then went out and i spent 59.02 $.. and i wasnt about to go back into the gas station so i just held the trigger and let the other 98 cents go in. Is this why its dripping back out, bcuz its filled to much or what?????// All the fuel lines are brand new by the way... Thanks every one

might want to double check those lines - there isn't a vent

if it was vented it wouldn't release pressure when you open the cap on a hot day. has to be a leaking line.

i would put my money on the pressurized line going to your engine

i've put a few extra bucks in mine a couple times to cut it even and i've never noticed any leaks on the driveway.

The only way it would come out around the sender unit is if it wasn't seated properly and the o-ring wasn't on it all the way - so id rule that one out.. - unless it didn't seal good?

Eliminate the possibilities. On the next couple of fill ups, don't overfill. If it doesn't leak, then try overfilling. If it leaks you've found the cause.
