Hey guys, I've had my 06 Tahoe for only about 5 days now, and one thing I notice is the fuel gauge takes a while to finally go down to where it was from the last time I drove it. I park in a typically slanted driveway. It has taken about two minutes for it to finally settle. Normal? Consequently, it looks like the 'mileage remaining' value is determined by the fuel gauge/float position. Strange to me.

Yeah thats normal, if you restart the engine when you get to the bottom of the hill it will be normal, but mine does that if I'm sitting on a hill or something too. The '08 is the same way.
