I am hardwiring a radar detector in my 2010 Tahoe LTZ. I have already done so successfully, but I want to use a fuse that is "on" only in the accessory or run positions, so when the car cuts off, the detector does too. Every fuse I've tried so far (in the fuse box near the driver's door) seems to be "on" all the time, even when the key is not in the ignition! Anyone have an idea if there are any fuses in that box that are "on" in just the accessory or run positions?

there is one on driver side area left of the brake pedal. take the cover off that looks like the picture i posted close to the bottom should be an empty spot where a wiring harness should be, take your test light and test every male terminal till you find one....i just cant remember exactly which one it is. Maybe i can take a picture of mine tomorrow.

It's easy to find.

In reference to the picture. Where the period is, about half and inch down is where the empty slot is.

I believe it is the last lead all the way to the bottom right that is on when the ignition is on, I had an exhaust brake wired there on a dually of mine.
