I have a 2001 Tahoe LT 4wd 5.3L and every time I go to the lake and back my boat into the water, I get a check engine light stating the vapor pressure sensor is bad. The last time it happened again but when I got home, I smelled a strong fuel smell and when I went to start it, it would start, run rough and then die. I noticed the tank had excessive pressure in it. After letting it cool off, it started fine, the engine code light went out and it has run fine ever sense. I think water is getting into the canister. Has anyone had this problem?
