The other day i installed a new fuel pump on my 1996 GMC yukon and after i put the tank back up in the frame i went to start it and i noticed that the fuel gauge didnt work and i know that everything went back in the way it came out. Is it possible that the float is caught on somthing?? HELP!

Well is the fuel gauge reading at all or a little. if you turn the key and the needle doesn't move at all its prolly a loose wire. connector not connected. bad sending unit. If the gauge reads a little bit try filling up the tank. if the needle doesn't go any further then the float is stuck for sure
