Well the fuel pump is fine now -- since it's a new one, $906 later.
Of course I looked here AFTER I had my problems (RPMs dropping out, code reading 'running lean', would'nt start), and got it fixed (new fuel pump at the dealership).
Now the idle seems a bit low, it drops down to about 400rpm. And so when I accellerate at a stop sign the vehicle bucks as the rpms fly by the 800rpm or so level where the drivetrain engages.
But before I go calling the dealer to have that fixed I wanted to ask about the "Bulletin" I've read about in here for vehicles of my era (2001 Yukon). Does any body know more about it. Seems there was a connection issue?
I just wanted to know what I could about it, so if it seems directly related to the problem that I had, then might there be some recourse with the dealer, and the $900 bill.
