Just bought an 07 Tahoe, which came with 22" rims, When I turn, the front tires are rubbing on on the sway bar and it looks like the inside of the wheel well. Just looking for solutions other people have used.

Thanks

I'm not sure what stance your looking for but I put a Rough country leveling kit on my 07 Tahoe in order to clear larger tires. it brought the front up 1 1/4"

What is the width of the rims???? Offset??? Size tire?????? We need more info in order to help. My guess is you have the wrong offset for the wheels.

Short term solution may be to pull the sway bar off.

Many times people buy bigger wheels on the cheap and forget to check things like "offset" or "backspacing"... E-bay is great for this, the auctions will state "will fit tahoe", but that doesnt mean you can go full lock on a turn.

My buddies tahoe (96) has the same problem at FULL lock and he just deals with it and tries to not get in situations where he needs to turn that hard.

Good luck.

I live up in Anthem.......Can you post what kind of wheels they are and I can probably find out the offsets.

Pretty sure this is them. They came on my truck, so I never really looked. If so, offset is listed below.

Liquid Metal Lithium 6

Finish: Chrome
Wheel is plated in chrome, highly reflective mirror-like finish.

22X9.5 6-139.7 25C

So these are a +25 offset so they only are closer to the truck by 1/5th of an inch compared to my +30 offset. Did you say you are running 305/45's??

Only thing that you could do...but you run the risk of having some balancing issue....is putting on a 5mm wheel spacer to bring the wheels out a bit. Just make sure you still can get 6-8 full turns on the lugs when you are putting the wheels back on. Either this or get different size tires or get new rims.....which I doubt your gonna wanna do.

Alot of people frown on spacers, but you are not looking at 1" spacers or anything, you should be fine with the smallest spacer you can find... just hope the wheels dont stick out from the fender, that always looks like crap.
