went and got some HIDS installed on the low and foglights.
looks great but i always thought the DRL were seperate from the low beams.
but the HIDS stay on all the time???

regardless my question was about the front amber colored lights that are in the front next to the low/high beams.
i own a 06 gs and i know you can change them out with LEDs in order to create a cleaner look

i noticed when i tried to high beam last night it would cut off the lights completely?!!?!?!? :confused2:
regardless i just purchased k2 led tail lights and plan on doing a full led sweep of the vehicle..
also add a savv 15.4 overhead monitor with a 1/2 din dvd player in the center console
will add pics of everything once completed

You ave to buy the bi-xeon in order to have the hi and low beam. I have the bi-xeon on my 07 Denali. As far as the DRL's I took out the 2 fuses under the hood that goes to the DRL's, that will keep your xeons from coming on all the time. I can't recall waht fuse numbers, it's like #25 or #30. Look in your owners manual it will tell you. Did you have to mod the HID fogs? I wanna do that on mine next. What kind and how much did they cost? Hope this helps.

I took it to Stereo EFX in houston
I told them what i needed and asked them how long it would take.
They said 2 hours b/c they are busy and b/c the fogs needed to be modified.
Since they already knew about the issue it was good. As far as what they did I am unsure.
Both low beam/fog hid install was $400 total w/ hid conversion kits.
Next time I go I will ask them about the DRL.
I like the look of it b/c its nice and bright.
Im wondering what negatives there are to running the HIDs all the time like that tho?

as far as the city/parking lights you can use the 3157 instead of the 4157
