I believe the tweeters are 1inch. and any tweeter out there wont fit right in, you have to mod em up a little bit, meaning with wood or some other material. Best thing would to disconnect the factory ones and then put some new (any size) into the A pillars on each side either facing you or not. If you know how to fiberglass your in good luck, have em pop out a bit pointing to the rear of the truck, if u dont know how to fiberglass, just cut a certain hole in the A pillar and stick em in with a cover over them.. good luck

Wow, i'm kinda surprised i'm not the only person who done this, mine are at the top of the panel as well, near the pillar pointing right at the ears.. tied into the front speaker wires

Here is my current setup....

8 Tweeters (2 factory) 1 on each of the door panels at the top close to the Pillars pointing at the ears.. - 2 on the Very Way Back panel behind the rear 4x10s pointing frontwards - (1 on each of the pioneer 4x10s - so does that count as 10 tweets?)

2 front door speakers (blown as of current, and un-hooked looking to get new ones, not wanting to go factory - will probably get those speaker-pods i've been seeing)

2 rear door speakers factory (factory amp)

2 way backs 4x10 pioneers

2 15" Memphis M3's - 1000d Power Reference Class D Amp
