I recently bought a 2008 Yukon Denali 6.2L and have noticed that the oil pressure needle moves from about half way at idle, to 3/4 or more during normal acceleration. I was wondering if this was normal for the 6.2L pressure gauge? I have owned Chevy/GMC, Dodge, and Ford trucks over the years, but have never seen a pressure gauge fluctuate that much. Others stayed pretty much the same from startup, to idle, an own through acceleration. Any thoughts or advice to ease my concerns would be greatly appreciated.

Oil pressure does increase under load, so that part would be normal. Most gauges aren't accurate enough to reflect this thats why you don't see it fluctuate.
