Hello all,

I'm thinking of moving up to a 1996-1998 Tahoe/Yokon and want to know if it can be flat towed behind my RV. It's a 1976 GMC Eleganza II. :)

Is there a hack that you can get the electric shift transfer case into neutral? Will the front automatic hubs be OK? It's my understanding that the later electric shift models have a neutral and can be flat towed.

thank you all in advance

Todd

Leave in 2X4 and disconnect the driveshaft at the rear end, tie up shaft real good underneath.......

Or buy a tow dolly you can drive the Hoe up on....

IIRC the next gen body style has a neutral option for the 4x4 for such purposes......
