First time speaker installer!

Hey Guys, I have a few questions and I be thankful for any feedback. Let me just say this is my first time doing this so I will need all the help I can get. I have an 07 Tahoe and the speakers in my door blow. I want to replace them and I wanted to install an amp as well. I am going to be using the OEM radio for now and upgrade later. Question; do I need to run the new speakers wires from the door directly to amp or am I using the radio for that?

U Can Just Run The Amp To The Radio. If You Want...not A Bad Idea To Do The Speakers Too Tho It May Get A Bit Distorted When At Max... You Will Also Need This Piece For The Radio To Connect To The Amp.. Its About $30
