When I hit the brakes on my 2007 tahoe I get a "pulsating" in the pedal. The steering wheel is not affected so it does not seem to be a warped rotor.

Anyone else have this?

No issues like that here. How many miles you got on those brakes? May just be time for a brake job...

My brake pads squeak badly when cold, like when I take the truck out of the garage. When I get 300 feet down the street, they're fine. Annoying, but not a safety issue or something I'd take it in for.

If I were you, I'd take it in to the dealer, assuming you're under warranty. Could be a wheel balance issue as well...

I am experiencing what I think is slight warppage of my front rotors. It's not too bad, but it's there when I hit the brakes hard. Most of my driving is done at interstate speeds and coming off a ramp during heavy braking is when I feel it. I'm going to indure it until the warmer weather hits, and then I'm replacing the entire front system with better rotors, pads, and and calipers.

Causes of warped rotors can be

overheating or using an impact wrench on the lug nuts. So if you just had your tires rotated, then I'd suspect the latter. :(

More specifically tightening the lugs too tight. I think the Spec is 100 ft/lbs.

I have about 15k miles on the tahoe. Thanks for the quick replies.

I would call your dealership and have it in for service ASAP, today if possible, to at least have them take a look at the problem, acknowledge there is a problem and they can order new parts for you. I had the same problem and the service tech told me the rotors have a 15k warranty so they replaced the rotors and pads in the front, it'll at least get rid of the shaking until you replace the front end in the near future as you plan and it'll be of no cost to you.

140 ft/lbs it is

You are correct, Sir.

I remembered 100 but that was my Ram.

Next ricer you see, tell him your lug nuts require more torque than his car makes.
