Factory Wheels Back Spacing ?

Can anyone tell me how to find out the back spacing on factory wheels? I actually have 2012 Z71 wheels on my 2000 Tahoe. The lift kit i'm looking at says I have to buy aftermarket wheels because I need 4.5" back spacing. I was wondering also if I could achieve that by using wheel spacers with my factory wheels.

5.5 inches and yes you can with 1" spacers.
