I didn't think that the dome light in the back was going to cut it on those late night fishing trips and pulling the boat out of the water. So I installed some LED strips with 3M tape on them. I dropped the headliner and spliced into the rear dome light. Now it works with the rest of the interior lighting and I have access to turn it off and turn it on from the dash. The person in the back can simply turn it on by turning on that dome light. So far it's worked very well and it's bright enough to see while hitching the trailer up and loading cargo in and out of the trunk. Pictures attached. The LED's are from AutoZone. White, extra bright.
