My Tahoe's brake lights are coming on sometimes and sometimes not. The 3rd eye lights sometimes, sometimes not or it will flicker. Push the petal, lights, again, lights, again no lights. What would cause this bizarre behavior. If they didn't work at all it would be a lot easier to work on. If it was the brake pedal switch gone bad, why would it work/not work? Isn't that just a simple circuit completion switch? The 3rd eye might be a bad light I figure, but both brake lights work or don't work at random is something else. I really don't know what to think when I looked under there. I expected to see a switch positioned to be initiated by contact with the pedal. Naaah. So I am open to any help.
