I was wondering if anyone has experienced a whining noise when accelerating. Originally i thought it was a power steering whine but it doesn't occur when I am turning, only on acceleration. Could it be a belt? I can drown the sound out if i turn up the radio but I would really like to get a better understanding of if the sound is common or if it is a symptom of a bigger problem. Everything else on the Tahoe checks out fine and there are no lags when accelerating. As background, I recently purchased an 07 Tahoe LT with 72k miles and am new to the forum. Any insight would be appreciated.
