Engine warning light! stays on!

Hi all and merry X-mas.

Chevy Tahoe. 2001.

Yes, the engine warning light stays on while driving. In the manual it says, check your tank-lid is properly on, which it is.
The car is going perfect, not noticed any less power or anyting in fact.
Could it be a fuse or?
Since tha car is performing well, is it OK to drive on? and after the hollidays take it to a mechanic ofcourse.

No need to take it to a mechanic. Just take the truck to an autozone, maurrys, advance, pep boys, and have them read the code for free. Then take what you found out and report here. Maybe one of us can help you out.
