what level of coverage do you have the major guard coverage or the regular?

if you have the major guard I suggest you take a look at your coverage agreement cause i'm looking at mine and on page 3 the encoder moter IS NOT listed under the items not covered under the gmpp ...take that booklet and shove it up the dealerships behind

This is what covered under Major guard

Virtually every mechanical, electrical and electronic component of your vehicle is covered against failure even if it results from wear and tear *Wear and Tear Coverage: The applicable coverage in the event an orginal or like replacement part is unable to function in normal service.. You're covered for parts and labor on:

* Engine
* Transmission / Transaxle
* Front / Rear-wheel-drive assemblies
* Fuel system
* Engine cooling system
* Heating and vehicle manufacturer-installed air conditioning systems

* Electrical, computer and audio systems
* Braking system components
* Suspension (Front / Rear)
* Steering system
* High-tech components
* Seals and gaskets
* Safety assemblies
