I have a 95 GMC Yukon that is having some electrical problems. The power door locks were working intermittently which tipped me off to the problem and then before I could ascertain the problem the battery was drained. Now none of the fuses seem to be blown but circuit breaker A, labeled Pwr Accy, in the dashboard fuse box seems to be tripping as it burned my finger when I touched it after I jumped the car and got it running again. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what all drew power off this breaker so i could systematically check where the problem is as I am guessing there is a short that was draining the battery and causing the power locks to go haywire.

Thanks,
Callosis

Welcome to the neighborhood!

You have a bad ground somewhere indeed, but knowing exactly where is the issue. Since you said that the only real sign of an issue was the power locks acting odd, again this is another one where I would begin my search in the harness at the door jams. Those areas of the harness are constantly being moved and bent back and forth with the opening and closing of the doors and it is very common for the wires to get pinched or for the metal part of the wire to separate inside the sheath of the wire and cause problems, sometimes even melting together. If you visually inspect the wires inside the harness loom individually and can't see any obvious damage, then remove the door panel and put a volt meter on the door lock and and test the voltage, you should be getting about 12 volts, if you are getting much less than that then you have a loss somewhere in the harness that you can't see.

If A is one of the two in the side of the dash, unplug the connection to the power seat, mine had worn thru the insulation on the power feed at the track on the seat........

Or pull it and see what doesnt work, windows, etc....
