I am in the middle of installing a pair of 16 inch Procomp fans with a Derale adjustable thermostat. It requires me to install the temp sending unit into a 3/8 water jacket on the intake, block, radiator or etc. I have searched high and low with no luck. Anyone know where I can find one?

And/or is there a technical write up for this? Has anyone else done it? Any help will be appreciated.

Yeah, they got here on Wednesday... I meant to drop you a note, but got tied up. I sent JK Motorsports a PM. Do you have a copy of it? I have searched and searched, and can't seem to find much of anything.

You'll need to tap the radiator or go through the fins as close as possible to the upper hose. I've also seen quite a few people running a nelson harness so the pcm controls the fans. Check out flexalite's install guide, maybe jk can chime in here but the e-fans aren't too difficult on these trucks

Here's my thread of the fan install. Not sure how much it will help, being as it's not really a "how-to" thread. But if you go midway through the thread, I have a list of required special tools and parts I used, as well as the removal procedure of the stock fan, shroud, etc.
