Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this forum so I apologize if I am not doing this correctly.
I recently bought a used 2006 Tahoe. The DVD player worked when I purchased it a few months ago and now when I put DVD's in I get an error message of "Disc Format Error." The DVD wasn't upside down and it wasn't scratched either. I have only used store bought DVD's not burnt made at home ones. I tried multiple DVD's and got the same problem.
I took it to a certified chevy dealer and he told me that the player was an aftermarket product and they can't help me.
The thing is, it's the same EXACT DVD player and remote that the owners manual shows!
Were they just blowing smoke up my butt??
Any suggestions on what I do next?
Thanks!
