yes you do, when you start the truck, your low beams will come on at reduced brightness, face a wall then turn the knob and you will notice the brightness difference. IN usa, gm has had DRLS standard on their vehicle since the mid 90's.

Yeah, they should just come on during the day, I don't think they'll be on when the regular headlights are on though...

they are the regular headlight, just at reduced brightness, YUkons are like that, tahoes have their own bulb.

YOu can only test it in the day time as at night your full low beams come on.

Dont touch the knob. Just start the truck. IF you have them they should come on. Just keep the knob at AUTO and they should come on in the day time. A way to tell is if your dash lights are on your headlights are on, Plus the orange lights above the headlights would be on if your headlights were on. If you have DRLS, your headlights should come on with out the orange parking lights or the dash lights.

Hope this helps.

One more thing, make sure that the parking brake is OFF and you are in DRIVE. Sometimes DRLs don't turn on if you parking brake is on.

There are no DRL's in the Middle East or at least the GCC countries. In Dubai, only imported cars have the DRL's but the GM's or any other car here do not come and do not have the option for DRL. I don't know why you would want it. I get high beamed a lot and people telling me to turn my lights off all the time but I keep my DRL HID's on to piss them off. (Imported Denali from US to UAE)

If you really want DRL's your best bet would be to drive with your low beams on.
