According to what I have found there is a 30 amp fuse for the heated seat circuit and under the seat you need to check an orange wire for power and the "thermistor/another design of relay" is in that wire also.
Thank you, Thermister wire sounds like it could be a problem. Doubt that it is the fuse since it comes on and gets slightly warm before it shuts off. Will check that wire and post. Thanks again Bob
I should have been more clear. I was just letting you know it had a 30 amp fuse for future reference. I knew a fuse is likely not going to cause an intermittent problem like you describe but that thermistor can. By the way I googled that info. Did you try that?
Don't get me wrong. I had to dig to find it, it didn't come up right away. I also read that someone says there is a controller under that seat, like another module, that could be tied in to your problem, if in fact there is a controller/module under there.
