I changed my speakers last weekend, and now when I put the key in the 'ON' position, all the doors lock automatically. To unlock, I have to do them manually from the inside. If I wait 20-30 seconds after turning the Tahoe off, the key fob will work, just not on the rear access doors.
I checked all the wiring, and the speaker wiring isn't close to the door wires, so nothing was damaged. The only thing that was unhooked during the speaker installation is the harnesses for the power locks and mirrors.
How do I correct this? I tried a 30 minute learn procedure: Ignition to ON position, leave it there 10 minutes, and do again 2 more times to reset. No luck with that.
Is there another trick to try and fix this?
Edit: 1999 Tahoe, 5.7L, 4x4
