Dome Light Question/Issue?

My 03 Tahoe dome light looks like pictured:



But usually looks like:



What do I need to fix it or need to do?

Not sure if you resolved this yet but what does the other side of the light look like? possibly a broken clip on the other side that is supposed to hold it in? I would use JB weld and build up the clip a bit so that it will hold again and just pop it back in once its dried.

You need the lens. The lens cover is part of holding it in the headliner on the other end, they both work together to secure it into the headliner
