Dome Light comes on and off?

I had not driven the Tahoe for a week so I look out one night and the dome light is on! Of course it had not been on all week because it started right up. After I started it, the dome light went off. Then as I sat there, it came on, then off, then on! I pulled the #3 fuse and this turned it off for now. Any ideas what the problem might be?

Do you have barn doors or tailgate? If you have tailgate, if the window is not shut hard or just right, it trips the light on and off while you drive and can make you go nuts.

Just a random idea to what it could be. Otherwise check your dome override button to make sure its not stuck or has a loose connection.

Actually I figured it out, it was the door switch on the drivers door. That little plastick switch went bad.. Replaced switch and all is well..
