My driver side knob will turn but the temp will just randomly go up a few degrees and then back down to where I started when its cold outside. I cant make a big change (such as from 60 to 80) without pushing in on the knob and turning very slowly. It seems there is some wear or bad connection on the circuit card perhaps. When the vehicle is warm, it will adjust where I want it but I have to push in on the knob slightly.
Anyway, I would love to change the digital to the dual slider control if it can be done without changing wiring. Does anyone know if this can be done?
If anyone has fixed the digital problem, that would be great too. Maybe I can remove the faceplate and clean the contacts.
