I'm considering the purchase of a tuner and was wondering if anyone has experience with the DiabloSport Predator tuner. The price is more reasonable than others, but are there any gains to be had. I'm primarily interested in an increase in mpg. i have a 2007 "Yukno XL with the 5.3 Flex.

Dont know about Diabolo, but i have the superchips in my tahoe, same engine and the results are noticeable. Im getting 1.5-2 mpg increase and I really feel the diference in power. Superchips claims 18.5 hp, 16 lb/ft gain with the 91 oct tune and 17.5 hp, 15.9 lb/ft with the 87 oct tune. Also check the Edge tuner, Getwired and others have had great results with it.

I would also look at the new Hypertech Max Energy, my friend just ordered one for his Denali, so I will let everyone know how that worked. My other friend has one for his 05 Silverado and he has seen a pretty good mpg increase, and it is definately easier for him to get the back wheels loose for burnouts! It is also easier for him to get up to speed on the short A*s onramps California loves!! :Chevy:

 Oh yea. About that post, the tune is not meant for modifications I was told. Its ok to add CAI, exhasut and thats about it. I have headers in mine so that may be the cause. Your results may vary, hopefully
