I just picked up my first Denali, It is a 2003 with 88,000 miles, being that gas is expensive I got this for way under book, now I am really worried. After putting on about 600 miles on it, I was taking a slight left, about 45 degrees at about 35 mph, and I heard a squeeling noise coming out of the front end, I couldn't tell what side it was coming from. I thought it was the drivers, and my passenger thought it was the passenger side. So the next day I went and had my oil changed, and I had them check the front diff fluid and he said that the back was great but the front had a little metal in it. I looked at it and I couldn't see anything, and he said that it looked fine. So we buttoned it up and I went on my way. I have now heard it knock or crack or squeel at me 3 other times since then. Also tonight on my way home I took a 90 degree corner to the right, and half way through the corner the traction control turned on and cut my fuel. It kicked off about 2 seconds later.
This is my first awd vehicle and I was wondering if this is normal or do I have something really serious on my hand. I know that in my 97 yukon and if it is on 4wd it makes some noise too. I just want to know what I have on hand and then we will go from there. Thanks guys, I really appriciate it.
