Driving 45 mph, engine suddenly died. No warning, stutter, hesitation, nothing at all.
Initial thought, out of gas. Put in 2 gallons, did not start. Hour later tried to start again. Turned over, would not start. Towed to dealer. Next morning, dealer put in 3 gallons and it started.
Does this sound like a fuel pump problem?

Mybe the fuel pump connector. I just posted in another thread somewhere about a TSB concerning 96-03 Tahoes with a bad fuel pump connector that causes intermittent operation. I would check that before replacing the pump. A lot cheaper for sure.

Nevermind previous post. I just realized yours is a Yukon. The tsb only covers up to 01 Yukons. But why not check anyway. Couldn't hurt.
