Just got one HID in the housing to make sure they fit. Wired them up to make sure they work.

I suggest you take a look at my "Lighting Write-Up Install" to get some pointers!

Thanks.

They look pretty good. But I think I have them in upside down. The High/Low don't work right.

WHy do GM's stock headlights start the light like 15 feet away from the truck. No wonder why we need fogs. But you dont have fog lights, do you???

anyway, show a pic of it on low and then flick it to see what happens on high for me, can ya???

I really like them. I still have to fine tune the way they shine. They are a bit high. Haven't got flashed yet....

Still not decided if I want to disable the DRL's.

I just put the 35k 5000k ddm hids in and I suggest to everyone to spend that extra 25 dollars for that harness we put them in without having to remove the headlight and it looks good that harness made the difference though. Is there any reason why you would want to disable the drl?

What was the problem without the harness and how did it fix it?

Also do you have a 2007+ Tahoe or Yukon?

Thanks!

I believe the Yukon's use the low beam as a DRL which would mean your HID's would be on all the time.

On the Tahoe/Suburbans the DRL is a seperate bulb, so no worries.

I also installed the seperate wiring harness. I didnt want to chance the stock wiring.
