I got a '98 Tahoe 4x4. 106,000 miles
So my CV Joints are wearing out. I think it's just the one side. I was gonna replace both side at once, but out of all the AutoZones in the area, there was only one between them. So I'll replace the one that's popping.

But any how. I wanna grease the others as a preventative thing. But, how do I get in? I've heard that GM seals there joints and the don't have any grease fittings. I took five minute to look at them, including the new one I have. I don't even see a hole to attach a fitting. How do I go about greasing them? :umn:

CV joints are not serviceable. They are filled with grease and sealed with a rubber boot. They usually only go bad if the boot tears, which allows the grease to be slung out, and dirt and water to enter the joint. If only one side is bad, just replace that axle.

How do I go about determining which side is bad? Sitting in the drivers seat, everything sounds like it's on the left side.
